Life is seen all around in different forms, colors and textures on this somewhat cool day. Where did the month go?

My husband and I moved to the country and made our dream come true...we bought wooded property, cleared the land, built the cabin, grew every ornamental plant, added a waterfall and pond, by ourselves with some help of family and a few friends. The saying..."alot of blood, sweat and tears", holds so true here. I cannot get enough of natures' beauty..in this blog you will find some of Wishnik Woods small wonders..maybe... just maybe, you will enjoy seeing the fruits of our labor as I do.

As always your beautiful pictures of life around the pond just made my day. All but the snake! :-) After being bitten as a child I have a healthy dislike for them but everything has a purpose in nature and from a distance they are alright.
Stunning photos ... I love the fading feeling of the season capturing my heart.
Kim, I love that blue damselfly (in the 5th photo). It looks almost tender, the way it is holding that bud!
Beautiful photos, Kim!
You who can let all these world appear will be a person blessed to Nature.
I show respect for you.
Pseudothemis...Thank you for visiting my "calm". You've left me beautiful words! Enjoy your dragonfly pond today!
I love the photo with the waterfall in the background.

Thank you so much for visitig my blog. It's always nice to recieve new visitors if any, me being a new blogger and all. Your pictures of nature are really nice. Love the one with the pond, the cat on the dock, and the lily coming up from the water. I liked how some of your pics have that faded look around the the edges. Very nice.
Gorgeous pictures of the last day of September in the woods.
Your home just sounds lovely. My mother-in-law got me into blogging. I told her that I didn't have the time. Now, I'm addicted to blogging! Yeah I'm a newbie to. Aren't grandchildren wonderful? I bet they just love coming over to your house. I have one and another grandchild due June 4th. My daughter has a long way to go yet.
Hi Peek-A-Boo!....Just love that title!! Yes, it IS ADDICTIVE...there is so much more that I should be doing...hey, this is my social life! Love the grandkids!! Have a great evening!
Your photos are so beautiful. I love the soft focus edges; it gives a dreamlike quality to them.
Thanks for stopping by at Havenwood and for your kind comment there. It seems we enjoy many of the same things, and I'll be sure to check back here to see what new wonders you've found.
